After reading this message board for awhile, I have started looking seriously for a boat, probably a CD-25. Is the 25D, I take it the model with an inboard engine, also availabe with the head in the forepeak instead of a V-berth. At 6'2, I don't think that V-berth is going to work.
If they can be had arranged that way, how common is this? I have already discovered that my selection in Minnesota will be limited, and the boats expensive (CD-22D with trailer for $17,500)
I will probably be back here with several other questions. Nice to have found you guys.

Re: CD-25 layout info request
Mike,
The CD25 and the CD25D are very different boats, different designers and all. The 25D has a diesel inboard, but it is not just a CD25 with an inboard. I believe all of the 25D have the head fwd and center (same as a CD30B). I have never seen a CD25 with anything other than a V berth up front. The V berth on my common garden variety CD25 is about 5'10" long.

Mike, also be aware that the CD25 does not have standing head roomJon wrote: Mike,
