CD Dory 10

Post by PHaase »

I am looking at a Dory 10 to use as a day sailor at our waterfront home. I liked the classic look, but wonder if it would be a good single person & occasional two person boat. Does anyone have any experience with this boat and estimates for the price range in the Mid Atlantic region. The hull is in good shape, but I don't think the sails are & it does not have a trailer. We currently play around with a Sunfish & just want something a little more comfortable for two people.
Thank you.

A word of caution though, if you are not careful when you jibe you will get wet. I really like my boat. In fact I liked it so well that I bought a Typhoon this year. Happy sailing
