EASTBOUND FLOTILLA ITINERARY/CD Rendezvous 2000

I thought you'd like to see what our current "flotilla" itinerary looks like. (Please keep in mind that this itinerary is subject to change, especially during the actual cruise, depending on weather conditions, etc.)

So far we are 3 (possibly 5) boats -- CD32 Realization, CD26 Endure, CD30MKII Adamarie, possibly CD30MKII Layla and CD30MKII Machts Nichts.

7/1 -- Realization is leaving Morgan, NJ on July 1st for Great Kills Harbor, Staten Island or Gravesend Bay, Brooklyn, NY and will spend the night at one of those harbors.

7/2 -- Realization will sail from Great Kills/Gravesend Bay on July 2nd to City Island, NY -- Harlem Yacht Club (718-885-1225, monitors CH. 72, CD contact: Al Aversa 201-599-2307).
Endure will leave Red Bank, NJ on July 2nd and meet Realization at City Island.

7/3 -- Realization and Endure will sail together to Huntington Harbor, NY -- Ketewemoke Yacht Club (516-351-9762, monitors CH. 9, CD contact: Tom Shelford 631-271-5626 or Robert Miller 631-673-3263).  Adamarie will leave Stamford, CT and catch up with Realization and Endure in Huntington Harbor. Adamarie plans on anchoring in Lloyd Harbor.

7/4 -- The 3 boats will sail to Branford, CT -- Branford Yacht Club (203-488-9798, Dockmaster Jim Picket, monitors CH. 9).

7/5 -- From Branford we head for Essex, CT -- The Chandlery (860-767-8267, monitors CH. 68, CD contact:  Rodney Devine 860-767-3462). CD30MKII Layla will leave from Milford, CT and CD30MKII Machts Nichts will leave Norwalk, CT and meet up with the other boats at Essex.

7/6 -- Remain at Essex and wait for the remaining boats in the flotilla (Layla and Machts Nichts).

7/7 -- From Essex to Niantic Bay for rendezvous.

The boats in the flotilla will hail on CH. 16 and switch to 68 for communications.  Monitor 68 at 0800, 1200 and 1600 for check in.

I'm berthed in Westbrook, so I might meet up with you folks on the way to Niantic. I'm the 25D with the full-batten main.
