We have a CD36 (1982). We have the staysail and the track, but no rigging. We don't want to go back to the boom rigged staysail (it wasn't on our boat when we bought it/had been previously removed), but are interested in options for rigging the staysail with a self-tacking track or possibly tracks on the cabin top and extra winches to control it. Does anyone done this or seen it done on the CD36? Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Staysail Rigging CD36
For illustrative ideas and descriptions that you can reference get a hold of a Harken catalog and look at the diagrams of staysail rigging options in the rear of the catalog. I have converted to a single sheet system very similar to what Harken shows in their catalog. A picture is worth a thousand words.Frank D. Miller wrote: We have a CD36 (1982). I made the change to remove the clubfoot and open up the fordeck area. She is a 30.
