This year’s Narragansett Bay Float-in will once again be in Wickford, RI Island, Saturday, July 20. Moorings should be available at the Wickford Yacht Club (WYC) and reservations must be made through Dockwa. Participants are encouraged to make their reservations as soon as possible.

If you are unable to get a mooring through Dockwa, please let me know and I will see if Pleasant Street Wharf can help out. Moorings should also be available if you are coming in Friday night or staying over Sunday night. Moorings are $50.00 a night. Wickford Yacht Club does not have a launch service, so bringing a dinghy is recommended. On the Dockwa registration form, where it asks for Special Requests, be sure to add ‘Cape Dory Float-in’.

The tentative plan is to meet Saturday afternoon in harbor for boat visits and Dark & Stormys. [More details on that later].

Dinner that evening will be at Joe and Nancy Fischgrund’s house which is only two short blocks from the harbor at 46 Church St. North Kingstown.

Snacks, hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided, and if you could bring along one dish, that would be most welcome. There will be coolers full of ice and water (and of course ginger beer) but it mostly is a BYOB event.
