SOLD: 1988 Cape Dory 36, Dream Catcher II, now in winter storage and located in Rockland, Maine, will be commissioned in June 2023 and then on a summer mooring in Rockland Harbor. This CD36 is in excellent condition, with many upgrades. Recent additions/upgrades include: Mack sails with a full batten main and Harken Bat Car system on the mast, Hood Roller Furling for the Genoa/Yankee and the Staysail, Lazy Jack system: Espar diesel forced hot air heating system: Adler Barbour refrigeration supported with 200 watts on SunPower solar panels in the bimini and Victor controller: canvas work including dodger, bimini, and mainsail cover; AC and DC distribution panel; electronics including helm Garmin GPS, Furuno radar, refurbished DataMarine wind and depth instruments: ground tackle including 250 feet of 5/16 galvanized anchor chain, RACOR fuel filter and a cleaned fuel tank; Force 10 propane galley stove with oven; V-berth cushions; etc. The engine in the original Perkins 4-108 that was removed on 2017, refreshed and a new Hurth transmission installed along with a new shaft, stuffing box, cutlass bearing, motor mounts, re-alignment, etc. Our reason for selling is simply that the after 10 years of sailing the Maine coast every summer, we have purchased a small trawler so that in the future summers we can cruise the inside passage form Seattle to Alaska. as well as other trips that are more suited for a trawler.
