Leoma cruise to Baja CA

Post by JD-MDR »

I am thinking of leaving here, Ventura CA and only going to Magdalena Bay MX and on up to Puerto San Carlos..
I don't think I will go around to the Sea of Cortez because I will need to come back home to get my second shoulder replacement surgery. I will be in substantial pain. The xray shows the shoulder like the ace of clubs and the socket is worn out, bone on bone.. I can feel and hear it bumping when i raise my arm and move it around. I think I will be OK. There are so many nice places to anchor and visit on he Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula. It's looking like departure date Feb 15. It will be confirmed when I actually buy insurance.
There is also a nice village at Isle Cedros near the # 2 position.. I hear the harbor master is very nice and they even let you anchor inside the harbor breakwater

I admire your willingness to set sail again despite the obvious pain. Enjoy the mini-cruise and wish you well in your recovery after surgery.
