Need a new Tiller!

Post by suffolk1969 »

My 1981 CD27 has a steering pedestal. I would like to get rid of it. I need to source a used Tiller and Cradle. I'll need a new (or used) throttle and gear assembly. I'm looking for input on the best mainsheet traveler (or ? ) since I'll be moving it back to the stern. I'll be patching the cockpit floor, any advice on what to look out for would be awesome! The boat is in Boston, I'm willing to take a road trip to find the right tiller and other parts. Does anyone know a good salvage yard in the North East area that might be a good resource? Thanks in advance!!
