Continuing my compass replacement quest. Replacing a Aqua Meter Saturn no. 142. The current booklet says the mounting hole for that is 4 1/4 diameter. A few questions.
1) Does anyone know if the CD 26 bulkhead is vertical or inclined? Some compasses have different degrees stated for the incline.
2) I see the cards come in different colors such as black, red, white. Is that a personal preference or is there something else I need to consider? Same question for the bezels?
3) Looks like back ground colors inside the compass are blue, black, white? Does this matter?
Still learning.
