Re: Cape Dory 26 for sale, Maine
Ooh, I see from the first photo that she has a lovely custom hide-away outboard setup, where you can tilt the outboard up out of the water to keep it from fouling yet it remains relatively unobtrusive. Nice! I don't think you will have too much trouble selling her. Good luck!

The kicked up outboard also gives an extra half-knot of speed when under sail alone. Thanks for the kind words Jim.

Hi Ken,
The new galley and Herreshoff style interior is outstanding. What a lot of fine work you’ve done. Good luck with selling her…..someone is going to be very lucky!
All the best
Bob

Dear KEN
Congrats on selling your boat. I am in desperate need of some info. regarding making my CD 26 have the ability to tilt the outboard.
How did the project go, does the Tohatsu 6 clear the rudder head and the overhead hatch when tilted?
Was the transom solid fiberglass when you cut the notch.
ANY thoughts and photos would be greatly appreciated
Sincerely
