"Leoma" worm gear
Just can't wait to share. Looks like the made it pretty good. Might install it thursday.

Very nice.....looks bulletproof. The zerk fittings make regular lubrication easy and convenient. Now the fun part...installation.

It's easy to install and I can make some improvements. It came with about 6 or 8 washers on each side of the aft bearing to lift it in line. I've been advised to make a block from oak and get someone to help by turning the wheel back and forth while I make the adjustments. Can't wait to get rid of the tiller.
