CD 31 size stands / popits

Post by jaguarv12 »

With the "New Normal" in place I'm bringing my CD 31 home for a well deserved winter of work rather than a stay at the yard.
Question being what length Stands or Popits work for the 30/31 hull Brownell SB3 (35"-52") or SB 2 (48"-65") ?
Thanks Jim Donovan

Hi Jim, On my 33, I use 5 stands with 54" minimum ht and two with 68" minimum ht. Those two higher ones
go in the stern, to support the boat while the hydraulic trailer drives underneath. Your 31 would probably use
the same, but to be sure, you could contact Brownell in Mattapoisett, Ma. - Jean

The Brownell web site has a boat stand "Selector" application that takes the specs on your boat and calculates which stands you will need. But I'd also be inclined to call them, as Jean suggests, to make sure.
