Boat Name Decal Vendors

Post by MHBsailor »

Getting ready to launch next week after repairs and just realized that I haven't put the new name and hailing port on the stern - looking for recommendations for such a firm, preferably based on recent experience and reasonable cost, prefer local (Southeastern Mass or Eastern RI) if possible. Thanks! JD

A few months ago, I helped some friends apply their decal. They got it from decals.com and even though it was rather large, it went on very nicely and looks great! I'll try to locate a pic... just found it!

I went to a local sign shop. They can show you colors, fonts and curvatures. I really like being able to talk to someone, in person, about something like this, Steve.

My bad... it was actually BOATDECALS.BIZ... the price was about $300 for two copies of that (very) large decal.

We used Speedy Signs a few times. Fast service and you can design your own online.

I used Speedy Signs as well, and the lettering still looks good 15 years later.
