Cooper Aloft
My son Cooper hoisted aloft to retrieve a halyard and rig a flag halyard. First time I hoisted anyone aloft, and a first for him. We had three crew manning winch and secondary halyard and winch for safety. Went smoothly after we figured out what to do.

Re: Cooper Aloft
From the title, I thought you needed a barrel maker aloft. Glad you just needed a helpful son to go aloft!

Re: Cooper Aloft
Ah, those were the days, when we could send our kids aloft. Now it's either Jean or me, and since I am heavier and stronger, it's generally Jean, though I am taller, and can more easily reach stuff on the masthead. We're getting old enough that we are cautious with ladders, and a masthead seems just crazy, but it's probably safer since we are so careful.
