Late night names

Post by Ben Miller »

I was awake in the middle of the night (6 week-old baby) and as I was trying to get to sleep, I started thinking about new names for our Typhoon. I started mentally re-arranging the letters in the word "typhoon" and came up with a few workable, but questionable possibilities:

Hot Pony
Hop Tony
Pho Tony (for the Korean-Italian-American CD owner)

Looks like I did pretty well, considering all the combinations. I still don't think I've got a new name for the boat, although my wife does kind of like "Hot Pony."

Congratulations on the new baby! Is this the method you used to come up with a new name for him or her?

I think "Hot Pony" is the most usable of them.

Thanks! I'm bad at naming things (pets, boats, etc.) but not quite that bad.

If I had a six week old newborn at home the name for my new Typhoon would be obvious.....RESPITE....

Jim, that's perfect! Or would be, if I ever had a chance to get out there...
