Converting a Mast to a Hinged - using tabernacle

Hi! I am new here but old Typhoon owner. (1975 hull i think) I want to start trailering. Alan Stewart, who is kindly building me a trailer informed me that I should best convert my mast to a foldable one - using a tarbernacle - which articulated from the deck level if i understood correctly..

Any of you have done this? what is my equipment list and source - from your best advice?
