Wilcox Crittenden Sea Cock part needed
Wilcox Crittenden Sea Cock part needed
I purchased a used bronze W/C 3/4" seacock and one of screws on the side has corroded in two. The threads came out easily but I am unable to locate another screw! It is a tad bigger than a 10-24 but definitely smaller than a 1/4-20. The 10-24 screws in ok but it is loose. I have heard they are 1/8 pipe plug, but I can't even find one of those. If you know the size, that might help, but if you had an extra screw available that would really make my day! Thanks.

Try a 12-24 SS machine screw available at Home Depot or Lowes. The 1/8 pipe thread is too big- and the thread
is 27 T.P.I., not 24. Finding a 12-24 bronze screw will be expensive.

Well, that's a new size to me! I will go look for one this weekend. Other advice was to drill and tap for a bronze 1/4 20. I will try the SS first. Thanks for the input.
