Mid winter

Post by jbenagh »

There's a point, mid winter, when you hear the plows scraping as you try to sleep, and the furnace runs often even though the thermostat is set low and you hear the icicles cracking because it's too cold, that you think it's only a few more months until the New England sailor is on the water again!
Best to all of you who headed south for the season!

24 days until pitchers and catchers report. The equipment truck leaves Fenway on February 4th. Surely spring must be right around the corner.

January is almost over, February is short, then two more weeks and I take the cover off!

Neil and Carl,

thanks for the encouraging words! Maybe I'll hit the garage/workshop this weekend for some varnishing.
