No coat or tie required. Everything is casual, but not too casual, cutoffs or blue jeans would be inappropriate for the evening meal at most yacht clubs. A double breasted blue blazer, white trousers, ascot and yachting cap would also be inappropriate, but it would give our hosts something to talk about.
