The morse controller is a single lever controller which controls throttle and gear.
When I move the control lever into forward it does not go into slow speed then as I keep advancing the lever it suddenly jumps into high speed. The reverse works fine.
I have been told it is the controller that is bad or that it is the cable.
What do people think ?
When people have replaced the controller which brand did they use ?
and can I use back the same cables ?
What length and make of the control cables should I get ?
Access to the transmission is very bad. How do people get access ?
Thanks

By becoming a human pretzel... It was easier to do back in 2002... but years have a way of making it tougher...arch007 wrote: Access to the transmission is very bad. How do people get access ?
I generally emptied both cockpit lockers and removed the side boards. Then I could (eventually) work my way in feet-first from the starboard locker and get my feet into the port side. While highly uncomfortable, I could generally take care of what ever was needed.
Now, getting back out? Well that was dang near just as tricky (if not more so) than getting in...
Good Luck (and have a massage appointment booked ahead of time!)
