Cape Dory 30 MKII; Good Old Boat

Post by Sea Hunt Video »

I recently received an email from Good Old Boat (email was sent to ALL subscribers) asking for comments, etc. about the Cape Dory 30, Mk II, Below is a portion of the email notice I have copied and pasted here.

"We need all comments by May 5. Please send them to Dan Spurr at: danspurr@aol.com and be sure to include the year/model of your particular boat, your name, and your city/state (or province).

Specifically, Dan wants to know about:

· sailing characteristics (good and bad)
· build quality (issues and accolades)
· what you like most about your boat
· what you like least about your boat
· specific problems you’ve had with this boat (such as leaky hull/deck joint)
· advice you would give to someone considering buying this boat"

According to the history section of this website there were only 31 of this particular Cape Dory sailboats manufactured (1987-1990).
Fair winds,

Roberto

Steve K.:

Perhaps as "Membership Chair" you would have access to all who own Cape Dory 30, Mk II sailboats. If so, perhaps you could send an email to them alerting them to the request from Good Old Boat (assuming they have not already responded directly to GOB).
Fair winds,
