Name this critter!!
I was walking down my street and as I passed the small bridge that covers the tidal tail of Hen Cove in Casco Bay, ME, I spied this critter among the rocks just above the high water mark. I recognized him after pondering his photo. Any guesses?

What? Nobody else? Good guess, Steve, but turns out the little guy is a mink. Closely related to the river otter. Spotted a flock of glossy ibis the other day. Turning out to be a very interesting Spring.

It was hard to get a sense of scale in order to determine how big the critter was. I couldn't see the entire tail either so I went with otter but was thinking mink as well. I am still gonna name him George.
