Most usefull Anchor!!

Post by Chrisa006 »

Was at an estate sale today and picked up this perfect anchor. I'll be able to use it all the time.

I felt like after >100 views this deserved a reply.

I think the anchor would be especially usefule while watching a Red Sox baseball game, particularly this year.

Roberto has obviously not been cheering enough.

Captain Hook:

My good friend Hook. PAY ATTENTION :!: :!: :!: My (our :?: )beloved Boston Red Sox are only behind 4 games in the AL East and its just mid-May. Relax. They are just getting warmed up.

Remember the Division Series in 2004 :?: Down 0-3 against the hated NY Yankees. They came back to win 4 straight and embarrass the Yankees. They then went on to sweep St. Louis (4-0) to win the World Series, their first World Series win in almost 88 years!!! The curse of the Bambino was dead :!:

Captain Hook I will always believe in my beloved Boston Red Sox. And come October I will toast their wins with a bottle of Guinness.
Fair winds,

Roberto

Roberto,

Has it been that long? 2004?

It seems like just yesterday.

I was just wondering how much chain you should use. Those little mini anchors are just the cuteist things and I would have bought it in a heart beat if I had come across it at a tag sale, Steve.

If anyone wants one of those little anchor bottle openers, just search on "Lewmar Delta Baby Anchor Bottle Opener". Defender, West Marine, Hamilton Marine, et al., have them.

Yikes, this one was still in the package for 2 dollars vs. Defenders 21 dollars. I should have taken the other one he had!!!
