CD 28FB Power Repowering exhaust options

I am installing a new Yanmar 230 HP Diesel in place of the 275 HP Chrysler and have been advised
not to try to use the present exhaust system - feeding the 4" exhaust to the two 3" mufflers and
piping. Does anyone have some experience with the changeover? Have most of you who have repowered
gas to diesel also installed a new muffler and exhaust system? Would appreciate any advice since
the engine is here and will install in about four weeks.
