CD25 fuse panel rebuild
I want to change out the glass fuse holders on my CD25. I am thinking about using the Blue Sea system push button breakers. I want to reuse the original cover plate as it has the CD logo. It appears it will all fit but I haven't ordered a breaker yet. Anyone have any experience doing this and what should I look out for...Thanks

I would be surprised if you found a replacement that fits your old cut out, but you may. Blue Sea makes an excellent product! They made a custom panel (Series 360) for our CD30 that came out beautifully.
There are volumes written on the net pertaining to 12-volt breaker panel change outs. Do some Googling and you will see what I mean.
You will probably find that once you start this project, there is a lot of rewiring to be done.
Good luck!

Re: CD25 fuse panel rebuild
The original panel on our 1980 CD27 was made by Bass Products Marine.
They have pretty good support and they supplied new breakers that fit their old panel. Is there a brand name on the back side of your panel?
Here is the link to Bass:

Good Luck.

And what project on a boat doesn't lead to additional work? Just saying...Bob Ohler wrote: You will probably find that once you start this project, there is a lot of rewiring to be done.

Re: CD25 fuse panel rebuild
If you can't find replacement breakers that fit, here is another option.
We had a small custom sub panel made for us a while ago by MMES, they did nice work and price was reasonable.
