Calling CD31 "Evergreen"
Can someone provide me with contact info for Cheryl who owns the CD31 Evergreen based in Round Pond ME? We just ran into Cheryl and Rich on Evergreen; but unfortunately I don't know Cheryl's last name.

Dean:
The CDSOA directory lists her last name as "Allen".
Now when you say "We just ran into Cheryl . . ." are we to interpret this literally

Re: Calling CD31 "Evergreen"
Thanks, Robert.
BTW, are you referring to the online Cape Dory Registry? I find that tough to use, as one (seemingly) cannot sort by boat name. Also, there does not seem to be a boat name column. Re that registry, how do I get on it? It did not seem like I was allowed to enter info. Maybe because my CDSOA membership is not current?

Dean:
I did not know there was an "on line" registry. I got the telephone contact information from the paper copy of the 2016 CDSOA Membership Directory that I assume is issued to ever CDSOA member.
Your "CDSOA membership is not current". Say it ain't so Dean. You are one of the first CDSOA members I met when I started looking for a Cape Dory. It was sailors like you that persuaded me Cape Dory sailboats and CDSOA were what I was looking for.

You can also Google coast guard vessel registry by name and search for info.

Is it just me?
I'm more than just a little squeamish about posting people's phone numbers without their consent. Not everyone on this Board is a member, and not all of them have good intent.

Carl:
You are 110% right. I am not sure what I was thinking. I am normally very security conscious. A bad lapse in judgment. Hopefully, no harm done.
I have removed the phone numbers from my post. I assume Dean has already copied them. If not, Dean, send me a PM and I will provide them.
Again, my apologies. My mistake.

Just to clarify, the online registry is not at list of CDSOA members, but rather a list of CD boat owners that are willing to share their info with the world.Dean Abramson wrote:Go to:

There's also a link titled "REGISTRY OF BOATS" (at the top-right of the index page) but it is pointing a mangled page still residing at toolworks.com. The source of the page used to be edit-able via a CGI script, but some hacker has thoroughly trashed the data. I have managed to rescue much of the data, but it needs more work and I'm sure it quite out of date.Cathy Monaghan wrote:Just to clarify, the online registry is not at list of CDSOA members, but rather a list of CD boat owners that are willing to share their info with the world.Dean Abramson wrote:Go to:

Re: Calling CD31 "Evergreen"
Thanks for pointing that out. The "REGISTRY OF BOATS" link in the message board's header now points to the same link as the "CAPE DORY REGISTRY' link found in the menu on the rest of our site (not message board pages).mgphl52 wrote:There's also a link titled "REGISTRY OF BOATS" (at the top-right of the index page) but it is pointing a mangled page still residing at toolworks.com. We don't maintain that registry either, we merely provide a link. It is maintained by fellow Cape Dory owner Dino Harrell who can be reached at:
email via the message board: http://www.capedory.org/board/memberlis ... ail&u=4264
or
