Maine Cruise Stop Over / Linekin Bay Resort

Post by Joe CD MS 300 »

If anyone is looking for a stop on the way to or on the way back from the Maine Cruise consider a stop at the Linekin Bay Resort. Its newly refurbished and just around the corner (Spruce Point) from Boothbay Harbor in the NE corner of Linekin Bay. They now have plenty of moorings, two launches and will pick you up at your boat. You can have lunch and drinks by the heated saltwater pool while the kids swim or at the open air deck bar. We have been there several times since it reopened this year under new management. one with a crew of 15 or so. It took four trips of the launch. Tell Wil the bartender Joe sent you. Everyone is pleasant and easygoing as could be. Don't know anything about their shower facilities for cruisers but would expect that they are nice.

If you see me aboard Quest, the green hulled CD motor sailor on the west side of the cove from the LBR stop by for a beer.
