replacing shower faucet

Post by evan »

Hi there,
I'm planning on replacing my shower faucet on my CD 330, and plumbing is not my forte.

I was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs and knows what size and type fittings they originally used on 33s?

The one I have looks very much like this one with two faucets at 4 inch centers, my attempts at repair have failed:

The listing above doesn't say anything about size or type of fitting for the pressurized water (other than the d-spud for the shower head)

I looked on Defender, and there they have various kinds of fittings and sizes listed but no drop-in 4 inch center 2 faucet replacement. I'm trying to keep this simple.

Thanks!
Evan

I did a search on Google. If you scroll down you'll see a few 4" lavatory faucets with shower diverters. I'm not familiar with this outfit and you'll probably have to call them to get your specific questions answered.

Thanks Jim.

None of these seem to say anything about NPT or BSP fittings, but some searching seems to say if you stick enough pipe dope on them they should just work (here's hoping)

I ordered this one in the end....
