Wanting to make this trip next year Southbound thru the Canal and up to Southern CA. Has anyone made this trip before in a CD25 (not a 25D)? Would appreciate any info.

I plan/want to make a trip thru the Panama Canal in 2-3 years as well,
then take my time and hopefully (have the fun is dreaming!) end up around the San Juan Islands. I went thru the Canal while I was in the Navy..it was just great! Hey, maybe in a year or two we'll all retire/quit our jobs and go with ya!!
