TY Weekender Free to a Good Home

Post by SWAMPYANKEE »

Free Typhoon Weekender.
I have a CD TY weekender in my yard, she needs a new home. Mast&Boom and various other associated hardware, no sails.
Located on the hard, Southern RI
Take it all, or it will be going to the ship breakers.

A little rough around the edges, but I'm sure she would clean up nicely. Hope she doesn't go to the breakers.

I can think of so many reasons I need this boat but I'm sure Sarah can think of even more why I don't. The two boats on my dock and the three boat trailers and two boats in my driveway would be near the top of her list. If my boys were a bit older (they are only 4 and 2) I'd already be driving to RI to pick up a great father-son project. For now I'll justify not lusting for it by not having access to a sailboat trailer to tow it to MD. I'm sure someone will bite on this though!

I would love to purchase the standing rig (mast & boom), and boat stands if the hull goes first- I hope that doesn't happen, but just in case... I'd take the whole boat if I didn't already have one in similar condition that I'm already committed to! Best of luck... Call me @ 843-407-7635 or send email please. Thanks!

Do you still have the Typhoon available? Update 6/15/16: The boat is now in SC undergoing restorations!
