Cape Dory’s traditional gaff rig Cape Cod cat boat. Fiberglass hull with sitka spruce spars and teak trim on the hull. Based on a design adapted by Merle Hallet at Handy Boat in Falmouth Foreside, Maine.
One owner, purchased new in 1973.

14 foot fiberglass hull.
7 foot beam.
Rub rail/toe rail, coaming, seats, hatches, tiller, solid teak/ finished bright.
Spars (mast, boom, gaff) sitka spruce finished bright
Oak mast hoops.
140 sg. foot sail lashed to boom and gaff with hoops on the mast.
Rigging blocks with teak cheeks finished bright.
Sail cover and (new) cockpit cover in Pacific Blue.

Included:
Holsclaw tilt trailer
Wooden cradle
Ritchie compass
Life jackets
Anchor and rode

Will be $6000 in the spring with the broker. $5400 if sold now.
Boat is in Rhode Island.

The boat is decked over forward. The enclosed area is suitable for storage. You are right, pictures are essential, the boat is stunning.

I am struggling with attaching pictures. I will eventually figure it out.
