Used Main Sail for 25D

Post by barfwinkle »

GA to everyone

I want to sell my used mains'l. Its not the OEM main but was purchased used from a fellow 25Der from Hope Arkansas. It was aboard Rhapsody until December 2014 when I took possession of a new main.

$125 plus shipping.

Fair Winds

I can't post a pic due to the fact raining and very wet here.

GE Ron

I don't know how old it is. I bought it used off of a fellow CDer, $400 or so as I recall.

Remember thats its for a 25D and most likely would have to be cut for a 25. About the best I can tell you it was used continually while sailing until the boat was pulled in October of 2013.

Ahoy There,

I am interested in your sail, does it have a manufacture's name on it?

jbsails after giving the ole' main a cursory look, I could find any sailmaker tags/logos. I haven't used the sail this year as I bent on a new main in January.

It is what it is. Probably 1998 or 1999 I bought it used from a fellow 25Der in Arkansas and it has seen extensive use until it was retired. Still serviceable, although there may be some wear and tear.

Let me know.

Also, while looking at the main, I remembered I have a working jib that I need to get rid of (OEM to my knowledge). See related post in For Sale forum.

Ahoy Bill and Merry Christmas to you and family,

Not to be picky, I think your main sounds a lot like my main sail. I was looking for a newer one and to use my
old one as a backup. It's a good price though.

About your jib would you know what the measurement are by chance? I have a small jib and was looking for a
Gennie, a 120 or 150 size?

Fair Winds and Merry Christmas and looking Forward to a Happy New Year.....

Good Morning John and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas

the Jib is the original working jib. I don't have the manual and since I just woke up havent taken the time to search for it but the boat's sail plan is 304 sq ft I believe. Thus this jib (I think) is about 104 sq feet (probably a little bigger). Certainly not a 120 or 140 genniek, it is the 100% working jib.
