If you are planning to attend the Annual Meeting you must get your check in the mail by 15 October. Details of the meeting can be found in the Masthead article (cdoamasthead.org). Several members have made hotel reservations at the Holiday Inn Express West-Navy Base, which is located less than two miles from the meeting site. This should be a very enjoyable meeting, please try to attend.

Hey Steve,
Check your PM's for our registration and payment, made today. There are four of us coming up from Naples and Jacksonville areas to participate in the annual soiree'. Just making sure we're on the participant's list.
Seafood, sailing, and Cape Dory''s --- great combination!

Re: Last Chance for Annual Meeting
Hey Bill,
Pensacola is a long haul from here but we'll be there.
Saw you are a new member of the Waterway Radio and Cruising Club. Welcome aboard. You'll find this a great bunch of cruising people who are also into Ham Radio aboard their boats. They have their annual picnic in November in Melbourne, FL, in conjunction with the SSCA gam. These two events are held simultaneously every year as there are many cruising sailors/boaters who belong to both. Mag and I may also attend this because the programs are always attuned to real life cruising interests. Much attention is now focused on the state of anchoring "rights" in Florida and I'm sure there'll be a lot of space devoted to all sides of this issue. AICWA will certainly be there this year.
WRCC also has the very best weather available to ICW cruisers. After emergency traffic, wx is broadcast at the beginning of the morning 'net check-in protocol. If you haven't already, tune in to 7.268 mHz @0730, It's totally free and gives real-time reports of any problem areas on the Atlantic ICW and nearby islands (Bahamas, T & C, Puerto Rico). I rarely transmit but do listen for the wx and ICW problem areas.
See you in Pensacola.

Steve, Andy and Bill,
I'll see you there, possibly as the only representative of the Northeast Fleet. Creme Brulee is still in the water, but I've got to haul her next week. We're expected to get our first freeze tonight. Brrrrr!
