New Hatch Rails

Post by moctrams »

Finally had it with my cracking weak hatch rails. Got some plastic teak and made a new pair. Installed an aluminum slider in the slot. Pretty nifty.

Nice neat job. Wish I had your woodworking skills. My hatch rails are not necessarily worn from use just from previous owners having sanded the daylights out of them. I keep them well varnished.
