Hi, all,
I'm selling my Ty and moving on up into a Ty Senior. I'm asking $5,500 for the Ty, 1980, Ty #1,765.
She's totally sound, in good shape, with a few non-worrisome spider cracks in the top side gel coat.
Brightwork in B++ to A- condition. The main is maybe 8 years old and in good shape; the working jib is, I think, original and a bit soft but still useful, the genny is also older but in good shape and I have a storm jib, which I had made by Vermont Sailing Partners and have used maybe five times. I have the original bronze engine mount, and all of the interior hatch covers, which I have refinished. I don't have cushions.
I'm selling the boat with its Mariner 4hp outboard, older (I think late 80's to mid 90's) but well-maintained and totally reliable, and no trailer.
I can't even begin to say how much fun I have had sailing her -- what a great boat.
