I've not noticed that the boat lists so much to port when she's sitting in her slip but have noticed that she tends to heel more to port when on starboard tack -- especially if the starboard water tank is empty.
My CD32 has the batteries, galley and 30 gallon water tank on the port side. The head, fuel tank and 20 gallon water tank are to starboard and there's another 20 gallon water tank and the holding tank along the centerline/keel.
We've balanced Realization by storing heavy items, like tools, on the starboard side and take the boat's balance into consideration when loading her up for a long weekend. We also try to store items like bottled water or soda on the starboard side as well. This seems to make a difference. Also, we use the port water tank first, then the bow, then the starboard tank. This does seem to make a difference. Try to keep the starboard tank full if you've got one.
