Just wanted to introduce us as new owners of a 1983 CD 30C. Just took the boat out of the water and onto my trailer for a refit at my shop. She is in pretty good shape for a boat that has been neglected for a long time. We have a great foundation to build upon and hope to use the expertise of this board to guide us along with the refit. We are lake sailors who want to eventually head to the blue water.
Look forward to participating on this forum and any helpful - insightful - funny - tell me I'm crazy - been there done that - comments will be greatly appreciated.

I can't really say welcome since I just joined the ranks of Cape Dory ownership myself, also with the purchase of a CD 30C. In any case, I look forward to hearing how the various projects go on your refit.

Congrats on your CD30 and welcome to the board. I am sure you will find very useful info here as well as plenty of wintertime threads that remind you of being on the water.
