It has been suggested by my mechanic that softer motor mounts with a flexible stern tube packing gland may cure my vibration with my Perkins 4-108. He says it'll be so quiet I won't even hear it running. Has anyone had any experience with this? Please advise. SAM

Re: CD36 soft motor mounts
Sam,
I doubt that there is room to put a flexible stern tube packing gland in a CD36. If you follow through with this let me know. My CD36 is reasonably smooth, but I always look for ways to make it smoother.
