Sealant?

I am going to be removing my old traveller shortly and installing my new one from Garhauer...I am planning on filling the old holds and redrilling new ones for the new traveller and was wondering what sealant to use around the new bolts so they dont leak..thanks for any recommations..craig...cd22

I am getting ready to re-install my traveller. I plan to use Boat Life Caulk under the teak strip and butyl tape under the traveller rail. I am told that Boat LIfe has a superior hold on teak, particularly when using the cleaner and primer sold with it. It is also available in a mahogany color. The deck does not appear to be cored at the position of the traveller rail.
