So I have all the parts, bits and pieces necessary to rebuild the Engine Control Panel, but the original box looks like h*ll. No other way to put it.
I want to repaint it and the obvious choice is the original black and that's easy enough.
My question is - if not black, then what color? The obvious options are grey (dark or otherwise), oak (or a color close to natural wood), plain white, off-white. What else?
Who has pictures of a Control Panel Box other than black?

Mine was origonally white, it looked rough so when I painted the cockpit I painted the box the same white as the cockpit.
