CD27 "EYEBROW TRIM" MOLDING SPECS/MEASUREMENTS??

Post by yves feder »

Our 1977 CD27 was not equipped with the teak molding above the cabin portlights ("eyebrow trim" as I've seen it called) - the molding that nicely defines the coachroof/side line.....

I found the outfit that made all the original Cape Dory teak molding trim but they are not sure which specific one was made for the CD27 manufacturing runs.(the measurements are apparently all a little bit different)

Is there anyone on the Board with a CD27 already equipped with the trim molding who could let me have measurements and a "sectional" sketch so I can order the right stuff from the teak supplier? He just has to know which cutters to use!

Glad to cover expenses, or if there's a CD27 here in the SE CT/RI area I'll be glad to come over and make a rubbing :)

Thanks!!!

Yves
