1GM Overheating ??"s

Hi to all

Okay, I put a new impeller in on Saturday and while removing the old one, I noticed I had the vanes reversed according to the manual. Hoping to see a marked improvement in h20 output, I put her back together and fired her. I did not notice any differance in the amount of h2o being expelled via the exhaust.

Could the reversed vanes have been causing the overheating. That impeller has been the boat for almost two years.
