Maine Bound July 2011

Post by GeorgeV »

I am making sail to Maine from Connecticut again this summer, I am looking to add an additional crew member for the boat.

If you can commit at least 6 days and provide your own transportation to and from the boat drop me a note.

I am planning on leaving Connecticut July 7th or July 11th with a drop off in Rockland, ME on July 22nd. This leg will include a 2 night sail to Maine and plan to explore the waters east of Acadia National Park as well as Casco and Penobscot Bay.

I plan to return from Portland, ME Aug 2nd and arrive back in Connecticut August 9th. This leg may include an overnight and ports of call are very flexible.

The exact route and stops are still to be determined and could be adjusted to accommodate some of the crews needs.

George -
Nice job with your webpage -- I hadn't noticed it before. It is a nice little resource -- especially with the files you attached. I sent you a PM regarding how you mounted some equipment.

Agreed on the write up.
I am only halfway thru it and I already know most of the players.
I haven't beeen back thru those stomping grounds in a few years, but remember the players.
You surrounded yourself with some good people.
I like your approach.

Can't crew, but if you need anything in Brooklin, ME please let me know. I'm in the center of the village and have a good mooring in Center Harbor. If I'm not on it, its yours.
