Stovetop Beans & Rice Casserole

This is a really easy recipe that takes only minutes to prepare and all of the items, except the water, come from the pantry.

Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Water
3/4 cup Uncooked regular long-grain rice
1 pouch (1 oz.) Campbell's Dry Onion Soup and Recipe Mix
    1 can (16 oz.) Pork & Beans
    1/4 cup Maple-flavores syrup
Heat the water, in a 2-quart saucepan, over high heat to a boil.

Stir the rice and soup mix into the boiling water. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

Stir the beans and syrup into the rice mixture. Cook and stir until hot.
