Invitation to sail a cape dory

Post by bpiperno »

I have pretty much decided based on my research, budget and the type of sailing I am looking to do to look seriously into buying a cape dory 25 D, 26 or a 27.
The only thing left to complete my research is to sail one.
I was wonder if anybody could invite me for a day sail in one of these boats.
I live in Jacksonville, Fl and I am willing to drive few hours.
Not sure of the protocol but if necessary I am willing to compensate if reasonable.
Thanks
Benjamin

See if you can find a few in local marinas and perhaps someone who races one. Don't be afraid to ask to help crew. If you can sail on one regular you just might fall in love with it.

I live in Fort Lauderdale and would be happy to take you for a day sail.
