cd27 engine swap
Hi-anyone have experience with the possibility of a yanmar 2gm fit in a cd27? thanks

Many in the past have repowered a CD27 with the Yanmar 2gm-20F. If memory serves there had to be some modification to the engine compartment to get it in there.
Put "CD27 repower" or 2gm-20F into the search function on this board and you should see previous discussions.
By the way, most CD27 repowers these days are using newer engines. Yanmar YM-15. Betamarine 14HP or a Westerbeke...(I forget exactly which but Robin Meigel of this board just did it with the Westerbeke. Andy Denmark Did it with the beta.
