Engine Weight?

Would anyone happen to know the weight of a Yanmar YSM-R-8?

Inexplicably it is not found in either the Service nor Owner's manuals!

Approximately 224lbs.

My CD27 has the beast too.

I imagine if one were to unbolt the alternator, starter, and cylinder head, on the boat it would be easily removed by 2 people.

Just in case :wink:
