Hi,
My CD-25 windows aren't much fun; they are plastic framed and they don't open. Has anyone found a way to upgrade/replace them? Opening bronze would be nice. Are there any (bronze, plastic, or aluminum) that open and fit the holes?

I don't have an answer, but I have the same question. John, if you find anything out, could you e-mail me?

John,
About a month ago Richard from New Found Metal Inc (nfm@olypen.com) posted an e-mail asking for diminsions of portholes for "porthole impaired" CDs. He has plans to make/cast replacement holes, I believe both opening and closed. Suggest you, or anyone else interested contact him with your dimidnions. I plan to for my 1976 CD25.
Hope this helps and will give Richard the info he needs to support us.
