CD22Bimini

Post by trapper »

Hi,

Becky (Oldragbaggers) sent me a beautiful bimini for a CD22. Her only request was that I pass it on.

I am going to keep the bimini and put it on "QT"-- I know some of you questioned whether a bimini will work on a 22, I will let you know.

I received the canvass only. It will take a few weeks for us to get the tubing measured, cut and fitted to the boat.

I have started making a pattern of the bimini and boot. I will gladly send the pattern to anyone who wants it. I will also try to find a way to post the pattern.

I hope to have the canvass patterns done by next week. When we get the tubing done, I will be able to provide the pattern for that too. Anyone interested, just let me know. Thanks again Becky!

Bimini for CD22

Post by trapper »

I have been getting few pm's about the bimini project for the CD22. I have answered each-- but here is some more information.

Here is Becky's link: http://blog.oldragbaggersonline.com. There you can see pics of her "Tough Cookie" before Katrina wearing the bimini. I will try to get the boot out next week then the bimini itself.

I hope this works.

Thanks Fran, for the kind words.
I'm very happy that the bimini cover works for you and that you will get some use out of it. I hope you enjoy the dodger as well, which is on its way!!
