A friend recently mentioned that he has a a 1975 CD Typhoon stored in his barn that has not seen the water in several years. However, he maintained the boat in good shape when sailing. He also had a customized trailer build with an extended tongue for ease of launching. I have no idea of the relative worth, but I would like to offer him a fair price, pending inspection of the boat.
Can anyone give me some idea of the valuation. Thanks very much.

Take a look at Web Site WWW.SOUNDINGSPUB.COM This is a boating advertisement Web Page. Select "SAILBOATS" and then "CAPE DORY" for the SEARCH. Right now it should come back and display about 135 Cape Dorys which are for sale. There appears to be quite a few Typhoons in the model year you are presently trying to price.
